Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 onions
  • 1 jar soy sprouts
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 2 carrots
  • ¼ white cabbage
  • 200 g green beans
  • 12 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp sambal oelek
  • some oil, e.g. sesame oil
  • 400 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 bags of rice
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 piece(s) ginger
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Finely chop the onions and fry them with tomato paste in a wok. Meanwhile, wash and chop the cabbage and fry it in a separate pan. Finely chop the peppers and carrots. When the cabbage is ready, add it to the wok with the onions and finely dice the garlic, then add it. Then fry the peppers, carrots, and green beans in the pan. Then add the vegetable stock and soy sauce, ginger, sambal oelek, and cornstarch to the wok. Simmer everything for a while. Finally, add the bean sprouts and serve with rice.
