Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 65 g semolina
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g smoked ham

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Fill the milk with water to 125 ml and bring to a boil in a saucepan with butter, salt, and sugar. Sprinkle in the semolina and stir until the mixture forms a ball. Let it cool, then add the egg, finely dice the ham, and stir it into the semolina porridge. Form into balls and let them simmer in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon, add to the meat broth, and serve.
