Bavarian sausage salad with white sausage

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 300 g white sausages
  • 200 g ham sausage, smoked sausage or Regensburg sausage
  • 8 radishes
  • 2 onions, red
  • 200 g pickled gherkins
  • 150 g mountain cheese
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp mustard, sweet
  • 60 ml cucumber water (pickle juice)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 60 g bell pepper(s), red
  • 1 tsp parsley, frozen

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Let the white sausage simmer in boiling water for 10 minutes. Skin the smoked ham sausage and the white sausage and slice them. Peel and slice the onion. Slice the gherkins. Wash, clean, and slice the radishes. Wash, clean, and finely dice the bell peppers. Cut the mountain cheese into strips. For the dressing, mix the vinegar, vinegar solution, and sweet mustard; season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar. Whisk in the oil. For the topping, mix the paprika and parsley. Place all ingredients in a large bowl. Pour the dressing over the top and mix. Sprinkle the paprika and parsley on top.
