Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 gherkins, from the jar, medium-sized
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- Cucumber juice
- Vegetable broth, instant
- Pepper, white
- 1 tbsp dill, freshly chopped

Cut the gherkins into small cubes. Heat butter in a pan. Add the gherkins and let them become translucent. Sprinkle with flour, stir in a little, and then deglaze with enough gherkin juice to create a nice, creamy sauce. Season with a little vegetable stock and pepper. Stir in the dill. This goes very well with Bohemian bread dumplings and boiled beef.
