Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • some butter
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • n. B. Maggi
  • 250 ml milk or cream
  • some flour
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Recycling leftovers

Hard-boil and peel the eggs. Wash and finely chop the chives. Heat the butter in a saucepan and make a roux with the flour and milk or cream. Season with pepper, salt, Maggi, and nutmeg (add a little more flour if the sauce is too runny). Then add the finely chopped chives. Chop the eggs and add them. Served with mashed potatoes and salad, this is a quick, inexpensive, and delicious meal that can be made anytime.
