Chicken Provençal with baked potatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 chicken breast fillets
  • 500 g potatoes, small
  • 6 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 6 tbsp chili sauce
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 tsp honey
  • 6 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 sprig(s) rosemary, chopped
  • 1 sprig(s) of thyme
  • 1 tbsp herbs de Provence
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • Salt and pepper, black, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Place the fillets in a baking dish, season with salt and pepper. Wash the potatoes thoroughly, cut into wedges if desired, and place them on top of the meat. Mix the olive oil with the thyme, rosemary, and Provençal herbs. Finely slice the garlic cloves (a truffle slicer works best) and add them as well. Pour everything over the fillets and potatoes. Mix together the ketchup, soy sauce, chili sauce, honey, and vegetable oil and pour over the dish. Bake in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 40 minutes. This batch serves 4 to 6 people.
