Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g chicken
- 500 g sauerkraut
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Serbian dish with sauerkraut and chicken, simple
Briefly rinse the sauerkraut under running water in a sieve. Finely dice the onion and finely chop the chicken. Place the sauerkraut and onion in a nonstick pan, add a little water, and sauté for about 10 minutes over medium heat. Then stir in the caraway seeds and paprika, add the chicken and 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and continue sautéing, adding a little water as needed, and sauté for about 20 minutes over medium heat until tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
