Swede – Antipasti

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 700 g swede(s)
  • 4 onions, red
  • 3 tbsp oil (olive oil)
  • Salt
  • black pepper
  • 4 tbsp vinegar (balsamic vinegar)
  • some rosemary, fresh
  • 1 tsp liquid honey
  • 2 tbsp vinegar (white wine vinegar)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel the swede generously, quarter it, and cut it into thin slices. Peel the onions and slice them into wedges. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Sauté the swede slices for about 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and balsamic vinegar. Arrange on plates and let cool. Heat the remaining oil. Sauté the onions and rosemary until softened. Season to taste with honey, salt, pepper, and white wine vinegar. Serve with the swedes.
