Russian minced meat stew

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp vegetable stock, granulated
  • 250 ml water
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp oil (rapeseed oil)
  • n. B. Salt
  • n. B. Pfeffer
  • n. B. Paprika powder, sweet

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, dice the onion and sauté it in a large pan with oil. Add the ground beef and fry until crumbly. Sprinkle the broth over the meat. Pour in the water, then stir in the tomato paste, mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika. Finely slice the leek and add it as well. Let it simmer for a while (about 10-20 minutes, depending on the desired consistency). Finally, stir in the sour cream (do not boil) and serve. Spätzle (spaetzle) are delicious with this dish.
