Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 chicken breast fillets
  • ½ bottle of BBQ sauce
  • 100 g cheese, grated e.g. Gouda or Cheddar
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 1 pack of diced bacon
  • 1 pack of pizza dough, homemade is also possible
  • Parsley or similar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Chicken breast with bacon on pizza strips

Cut the chicken breast fillets into cubes and place them in a hot pan. Add 1/4 bottle of the BBQ sauce, spread evenly, and sear everything. Meanwhile, slice the onion into rings. In another pan, fry the bacon until crispy. Roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet and pre-bake at 200°C for about 15 minutes. Then spread the remaining BBQ sauce evenly over the base. Next, top with the cheese, then the BBQ chicken and onions. Finally, crumble the bacon over the pizza and sprinkle with some parsley or similar herbs, depending on your taste. Return to the oven for another 15 minutes. Cut into strips about 2 cm wide and 5 cm long, and enjoy! Fresh ranch dip goes best with this.
