- 1 kg potatoes, raw
- 4 potatoes, boiled, peeled
- 300 g minced meat
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- salt and pepper
- 75 g bacon
- 3 tsp sour cream
- marjoram

Peel the raw potatoes, grate them finely, and squeeze them well through a linen cloth. Reserve the liquid, wait until the starch has separated, then drain the liquid and mix the potato starch into the potatoes. Grate the cooked potatoes and mix them into the raw potatoes. Season with salt. Fry half of the onions in lard until translucent. Add to the minced meat, mix well, and season with salt, pepper, and marjoram. Take about half a cup of potato dough in each hand, flatten it, fill it with about a teaspoon of minced meat, and form an oblong potato dumpling in the shape of a zeppelin. Cook the dumplings in lightly boiling salted water for about 30 minutes. For the sauce, finely dice the bacon and fry it, then fry the remaining onions in it.
