Layered salad with rice

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bag of rice
  • 5 eggs, boiled
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 1 small can of asparagus
  • 1 small jar of Miracle Whip
  • 1 cup of natural yogurt
  • 1 small can of corn, drained
  • 1 small can/n mandarin orange(s), drained
  • 1 bottle of curry sauce of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cook the rice until al dente and drain well, allowing it to cool. In the meantime, hard-boil the eggs. Peel the eggs and chop or dice them. Dice the cooked ham. Drain the asparagus spears and cut them into pieces. Mix the mayonnaise with the natural yogurt and set aside. In a large bowl, preferably a glass one (it looks nicer), layer the ingredients one after the other as follows: rice, eggs, ham, asparagus, mayonnaise (spread over the top), corn, mandarins, and curry sauce (also spread over the top). Then refrigerate the salad for 24 hours. Very important: don’t stir! Otherwise, everything will be ruined!
