Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 30 g butter
  • 1 onion(s), finely diced
  • 1 garlic clove(s), crushed
  • 250 ml water
  • 1 shot of red wine
  • 1 pack of sauce powder for tomato sauce
  • 150 g beef tongue(s), cured and cooked, sliced
  • 60 g olives with peppers, sliced
  • 1 pinch of white pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Melt the butter in a saucepan. Then add the onion and garlic and sauté. Meanwhile, combine the water, red wine, and sauce mix in a mixing bowl. Add the sauce to the onions, bring to a boil, and let it simmer for 4 minutes. Add the beef tongue, olives, and pepper and let it simmer for another 5 minutes. I serve it with either mashed potatoes or white bread. For a drink, I use the red wine I used to make the sauce.
