Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 150 g butter
  • 200 g flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 250 g cheese (Emmental or Gouda), grated
  • 100 g ham, raw (not too salty)
  • 100 g ham, cooked
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g sour cream
  • some pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

The ingredients are for a springform pan with a diameter of approximately 26 cm. For the dough: Melt the butter, add the flour, salt, and water, and knead everything together. Chill for a while. For the topping: Grate the cheese. Cut the ham into strips. Mix everything with the eggs, sour cream, and seasonings and pour onto the rolled-out dough in the springform pan (press up the edges). Bake for approximately 1 hour in a preheated oven at 200°C. If the filling gets too dark, cover with foil. Add fresh herbs to the filling, if desired.
