Polish vegetable and sausage stew from the oven

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g sausage (Polish sliced ​​sausage)
  • 250 g potatoes
  • 250 g carrot(s)
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 6 cherry tomatoes
  • some butter (flakes)
  • herbal salt
  • pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Potatoes, carrots, peppers & Polish sausage

Peel the potatoes, carrots, and sausage and cut into fairly thin slices. Slice the onion into thick rings. Cut the peppers into fairly thin strips. Halve the cherry tomatoes. Spread the ingredients in a baking dish, season each layer with salt and pepper, and top with the butter flakes. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top and bottom heat) for 45 minutes. The vegetables will still be nice and crisp; if you prefer them more cooked, you can leave them in a little longer. We like to serve them with fresh baguette.
