  • 1 lemon(s), untreated
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce, Japanese
  • 2 tbsp oil (sesame oil)
  • 1 small onion(s), finely chopped
  • 2 ½ tsp brown sugar
  • 1 dashes Tabasco
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Salt and pepper, black, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Grate some lemon zest, then squeeze the lemon juice. Combine the zest and all other ingredients, then dilute with a little water to taste. This sauce goes well with almost any fresh salad and has a very fresh, slightly sweet and sour flavor. We use it primarily with green salad, cucumber, and steamed carrot sticks.
