Nut casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g puff pastry, frozen
  • 30 g raisins
  • 30 g desiccated coconut
  • 20 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 20 g walnuts, finely chopped
  • 500 ml milk
  • 30 g sugar
  • 100 g cream, whipped
  • some butter and cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Thaw the puff pastry and bake according to the package instructions until golden brown. Let it cool slightly and then crumble it with your fingers. Add the raisins, coconut flakes, hazelnuts, and walnuts and mix thoroughly. Transfer the mixture to a buttered baking dish. Bring the milk and sugar to a boil and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Then pour over the nut mixture. Spread the mixture evenly with the cream and bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes, until the surface is golden brown and the milk has thickened. Let it cool slightly and serve sprinkled with cinnamon.
