Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg chicken
  • 200 g carrot(s)
  • 3 onions
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 chili peppers
  • 150 g peas, frozen
  • 1 banana(s)
  • 4 tbsp oil (rapeseed oil)
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • 250 ml pineapple juice
  • lemon juice
  • curry powder
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Indian style

Cut the chicken into 8 pieces, season with salt and pepper, and fry in hot oil for 10-15 minutes. Sprinkle with curry powder, then remove. Peel the carrots. Deseed the chilies. Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic, and fry in hot frying fat. Peel and mash the banana, and add it to the onion and garlic mixture. Add the peas, coconut milk, pineapple juice, and the chicken pieces. Cover and simmer for about 45 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, curry, and lemon juice. Serve with rice, glass noodles, etc.
