Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 chicken legs
- 500 g yogurt
- 1 tsp ginger root, freshly grated
- 1 garlic clove(s), diced
- 1 pinch of chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp coriander
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp Flour, heaped
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 13 hours 10 minutes
Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish. Mix the yogurt with all the other ingredients and pour over the meat. Make sure it’s evenly coated. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours, preferably overnight. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for about 45-60 minutes, until the meat is cooked through. Serve with rice and a green salad.
