Beef satay skewers with sesame

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g beef fillet(s)
  • 150 g peanut paste
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder
  • 2 garlic cloves, squeezed
  • 3 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 piece(s) ginger, grated
  • 1 garlic clove(s), squeezed
  • e.g. peppers, chopped
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash the fillet and pat dry, cut into strips, and thread onto skewers. Make a marinade with the peanut paste, salt, pepper, chili, 2 crushed garlic cloves, and 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, and marinate the skewers in it. Meanwhile, peel, halve, deseed, and dice the cucumber, season with salt and pepper, let it drain, and then drain. Season the cucumber with vinegar, curry powder, grated ginger, and 1 crushed garlic clove. Fry the skewers in 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Serve with cucumber salad, bell pepper pieces, and sesame seeds.
