Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
enough for about 50 pieces
Knead the first eight ingredients into a smooth dough and then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Roll out the dough to about 1/2 cm thick and use a glass with a diameter of about 3 cm to cut out round cookies. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake on the top rack of a preheated oven at 220°C for about 10 minutes. Remove the cookies from the baking sheet and let them cool on a wire rack. Stir the apricot jam until smooth, spread it on half of the cookies, and top each with the other half. Melt the chocolate coating in a double boiler or in the microwave, spread it over the edges of the cookies, and roll them in the grated hazelnuts. Place a dab of chocolate coating on the cookies and press a walnut half onto each one.
