Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 190 g butter
  • 190 g sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 250 g flour
  • n. B. sugar or cinnamon or chopped almonds or similar for sprinkling
  • Flour for the work surface

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 35 minutes

Butter cookies

Combine 2 egg yolks, butter, and sugar in a bowl and beat until fluffy. Add the flour, knead thoroughly, and chill for about 2 hours. Roll out on a floured surface. Cut out shapes as desired and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Whisk the remaining egg yolk and brush the cookies with it. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, or chopped almonds, if desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (convection oven) for about 10 minutes, until golden brown.
