Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 675 g flour (wheat flour, type 550)
- 350 g water
- 37 g yeast
- 15 g salt
- 50 g butter
- 15 g flour (malt flour)
- 15 g sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Knead all ingredients into a firm dough. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 10 minutes. Divide the dough in half and place each half into a loaf pan. Let the loaves rise for about 20 minutes. Brush with lukewarm water before baking. Oven temperature: 200°C Baking time: about 40 minutes Tip: To check if the bread is fully baked, remove it from the pan and tap it lightly on the bottom. You should hear a dull sound.
