Pasta in bacon sauce à la grandma

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g bacon, whether smoked or unsmoked
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp, leveled flour
  • 2 onions
  • Vinegar
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • 500 ml broth
  • 500 g pasta

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the pasta until al dente. Finely chop the onions and bacon and fry in a little butter. Stir in the flour and fry briefly, then deglaze with the broth, stirring vigorously. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently, adding a little more broth if needed, to create a nice, creamy sauce. Season to taste with vinegar, salt, and sugar. Serve the pasta with the sauce. Boiled potatoes also go well with it.
