Kale casserole with fresh Mettwurst

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 4 sausages (fresh Mettwurst)
  • 750 g kale (frozen)
  • 500 g potatoes, boiled (jacket potatoes)
  • 200 g cheese, grated Gouda
  • 200 g cream
  • Meat broth (instant or homemade)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Bring water to a boil and season with salt and meat broth powder. Cook the kale in it for about 15 minutes, then drain in a sieve. Slice the sausages. Place half of the kale in a dish and season with salt and pepper. Layer half of the potato and sausage slices on top and season lightly. Next, add half of the cheese. Layer the remaining kale and top with the remaining potato and sausage slices. Season again, sprinkle with the remaining cheese, and pour over the cream. Bake at 200 to 225 degrees Celsius for about 45 to 60 minutes.
