Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 ½ kg kale
- 250 g onion(s)
- 250 g carrot(s)
- 250 g smoked pork
- 2 Mettwurst sausages, coarse
- 1 tbsp oat flakes
- 500 g jacket potatoes
- 3 eggs
- 150 g cream
- 100 g cheese, grated
- salt and pepper
- oil
- Butter for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Wash and blanch the kale, rinse, and chop. Dice the onions and sauté in oil until translucent. Add the grated carrots and cabbage. Slice the sausages and cut the meat into pieces, add, and cook for 10 minutes. Toast the oats in a pan, season with salt and pepper, and add to the kale. Slice the boiled potatoes and line a buttered casserole dish. Arrange the kale and meat on top. Whisk the eggs with the cream and grated cheese, season with salt and pepper, and pour over the casserole. Bake at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes.
