Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 cake base (dark Viennese base, 2-piece)
- 1 jar morello cherries
- 1 pack of cake glaze
- 2 packs of cream stiffener
- 5 waffles (Hanuta)
- 1 pack of almonds, chopped
- 2 cups whipped cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Own creation
Place a cake base on a cake plate and place a cake ring around it. Drain the morello cherries, reserving the juice. Prepare a glaze using the cherry juice and the cake glaze according to the package instructions. Add the cherries and let cool slightly. Then spread it on the cake base and place the second cake base on top. Remove the cake ring. Whip the cream with the cream stiffener until stiff. Chop the Hanuta and mix it into the cream. Pour this mixture onto the cake base and smooth it down, don’t forget the edges. Dry-roast the chopped almonds in a pan and sprinkle them on top. Tip: You can also add a little cherry brandy to the cake glaze.
