Pizza dough

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g spelt flour
  • 125 g quark
  • 6 tbsp linseed oil
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking soda
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 5%
  • 1 tbsp, sautéed herbs de Provence, dried
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

for one baking tray, without baking powder, without yeast, very easy and quick to make

Knead the flour, quark, oil, milk, baking soda, vinegar, salt, and Provençal herbs into a smooth dough. I think this works best by hand. Roll out the dough on a baking sheet (use baking paper). Top with your favorite toppings, and place in the oven. The dough needs to bake for about 20 minutes at a preheated oven (180°C fan/convection oven). Note from Chefkoch.de: Linseed oil is considered a very high-quality vegetable oil because it is rich in omega-3 fatty acids. These fatty acids are destroyed when heated to high temperatures and are partially converted into harmful trans fatty acids. The linseed oil not only loses its flavor, but also its health benefits.
