  • 50 g butter
  • 50 g herb butter

  • 4 tbsp milk

Basic recipe for savory tarts/quiches without eggs, very suitable for variations

Knead the flour, butter, salt, and milk into a dough. The butter should be lukewarm, otherwise it will be a real pain. Depending on the type of tart or quiche you’re making, you can add other spices to the dough. These should be dry, though. Once the dough is firm, roll it out into a buttered springform pan (or tart pan) and prick with a fork. Chill in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes, then top with your favorite toppings. Bake in the oven at 180°C (fan oven) for about 20 minutes to finish.
