Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g strawberries, frozen
  • 50 g dates

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 12 hours 15 minutes

Strawberry jam without sugar, without gelatin, suitable for Baby Led Weaning (BLW)

Slice the dates into rings and gently heat them with the frozen strawberries in a saucepan until the strawberries are soft. Do not allow the strawberries to boil. Then puree everything finely and transfer to a preserving jar. Let the jam cool in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours. This will thicken its consistency. This yields approximately 250 ml of jam. The jam will keep in the refrigerator for about 1 week.
