Baked Oatmeal – Oatmeal casserole with apples and cinnamon

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 360 ml milk
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp, heaped honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 apple
  • 1 handful of raisins
  • 180 g oat flakes
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 25 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 20 g almond flakes
  • 50 g walnut kernels

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Combine all wet ingredients in a bowl. Finely slice the apple and add it to the pan. Add the remaining ingredients. Crumble the walnuts a little by hand, if necessary. Mix everything well and pour into a shallow, greased baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 30 minutes.
