Low-carb dark chocolate and nut crossies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g chocolate (dark chocolate 99% cocoa)
  • 100 g nuts (Brazil or macadamia nuts)
  • 1 tbsp oil (coconut oil)
  • Stevia

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

quick to make and absolutely delicious!

Place the nuts in a plastic bag and mash them into small pieces using a meat tenderizer (you’ll probably also be able to do this with a food processor). Slowly melt the chocolate in a saucepan. Add the coconut oil and let it melt. Since the chocolate, with 99% cacao content, is quite bitter, sweeten with stevia if desired. Taste as you go! Then mix the nuts with the chocolate mixture and, using a tablespoon, place small mounds onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let cool in the refrigerator or freezer. A super-delicious snack for those sweet tooths on a low-carb diet!
