Chocolate icing

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g coconut oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

according to the old GDR tradition á la Mama

Mix the sugar and milk together in a saucepan. Bring to a boil briefly, then let cool. Stir 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder and the egg into the cooled mixture. Melt the coconut oil over low heat – but don’t let it get too hot! Let the melted coconut oil cool. Once it’s lukewarm, slowly add it to the cocoa mixture – preferably a little at a time. Stir in with a whisk until smooth. Spread this mixture over a cake of your choice as a glaze. Tip: You’ll need double the amount for one baking sheet.
