Creamed mushrooms

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g mushrooms (wild mushrooms), cleaned and sliced
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 200 g cream
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • n. B. Sauce thickener, dark
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp clarified butter

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cream sauce with fresh wild mushrooms

Dice the onion and finely chop the parsley. Briefly sauté both in clarified butter, then add the mushrooms and fry. Deglaze with the vegetable stock and bring to a boil briefly. Stir in the cream and season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Thicken the creamed mushrooms with a sauce thickener if desired and stir in the sour cream just before serving. Serve with bread dumplings, potato dumplings, or simply bread.
