Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 kg garlic, Chinese solo garlic
- 200 ml oil (rapeseed oil)
- 2 tbsp salt

Peel the garlic; with Solo Garlic, this is almost effortless. Blend it with oil and salt using a hand blender and pour it into small twist-off jars. I use the smallest jars, about 50 ml. Simmer for 30 minutes with the lid loosely on, then screw the lids on while still hot. The paste can be used almost anywhere as a substitute for fresh garlic; I use it in dressings, marinades, roasts, vegetables, etc.
