Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 jar tomatoes, dried in oil
- 1 pack of Maultasche(s) with vegetable filling (20 pieces)
- 1 pack of spice mix (gyros)
- 3 tbsp sunflower oil or olive oil
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tbsp ketchup
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
with dried tomatoes
Mix together tomato paste, mustard, oil, and ketchup. Add gyro seasoning to taste; you want a strong flavor. Cut each Maultaschen into 5 pieces, place them in the prepared marinade, and let them marinate in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes. Then, alternate the Maultaschen pieces with the sun-dried tomatoes on wooden skewers, 5 pieces per skewer. Fry or grill these skewers over medium heat until crispy.
