Noodles with pepper and mushroom sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 350 g mushrooms
  • 1 ½ tbsp butter
  • 1 large bell pepper(s), red
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tsp paprika powder, hot
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp marjoram
  • 1 tsp herbs de Provence
  • 3 tbsp sweet cream
  • 200 g pasta
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water until tender. Slice the mushrooms and sauté in butter. Finely slice the bell peppers and add them to the mushrooms. Dust everything with flour and sauté briefly. Deglaze with the vegetable stock and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season the sauce with herbs and spices to taste and finish with the cream. Serve the pasta with the sauce.
