Whole-wheat waffles

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 100 g wholemeal flour
  • 50 g oat flakes, fine
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 250 ml almond milk (almond drink)
  • 20 ml soy cream (Soy Cream Cuisine)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 coconut oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

with wholemeal flour and oat flakes, without butter and milk

Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. Combine the flour, oat flakes, vanilla sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, honey, almond milk, two egg yolks, and soy cream. Fold in the egg whites until all the egg whites are incorporated. Grease the waffle iron with coconut oil and bake the waffles in batches.
