Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g oat flakes (whole grain) or wheat, barley and spelt
- 200 g green spelt, crushed
- 1 onion(s), diced
- 1 garlic clove(s), chopped
- 150 g sauerkraut, finely chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pink pepper, ground
- 3 juniper berries, ground
- 3 cloves, ground
- 2 tbsp soy flour
- 300 ml vegetable broth, without salt

Mix everything together and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Depending on the consistency of the batter (it should be tough), dry it with flakes or thin it with water. Fry the patties in very hot oil for about 2-3 minutes per side. This batter is enough for about 10-12 patties. You can also use just one type of flake, such as oatmeal; the patties will then have a less intense flavor. Serve with onion sauce and a salad.
