Kohlrabi porridge with chicken

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g potatoes
  • 500 g kohlrabi
  • 100 g chicken breast fillet(s) (alternatively 1 jar of chicken meat preparation)
  • 2 tsp parsley, finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp apple juice
  • 4 tbsp oil (rapeseed oil)
  • 3 tbsp water

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Lunch porridge for 4 – 5 portions from the 6th month

Wash the potatoes and boil them with the skin on for 20-25 minutes. At the same time, wash, peel, and finely dice the kohlrabi. Cut the flesh into strips and simmer with the kohlrabi in 3 tablespoons of water, cover, and cook for about 15 minutes. Add a little more water if necessary. Peel and finely chop the potatoes, and add them to the kohlrabi along with the parsley, apple juice, and rapeseed oil. Purée everything until smooth (depending on the child’s age). Freeze in portions.
