Spread the love

  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • some sunflower oil
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

goes best with Russian manti and other meat dishes

Slice the onions into thin half-rings. Heat a small pan and add the sunflower oil. Add the onions and tomato paste and fry briefly, but do not let them brown. Remove from the heat and stir in the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper. My mother always makes this simple sauce on the side when she’s cooking Russian manti. We all love it with it, but it also goes well with other meat dishes.
