Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cup rice (not rice pudding!), approx. 130 g
  • 3 oranges
  • 250 ml cream
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • some sugar, if needed
  • Orange slice(s) for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

simply delicious

Cook the rice (I used 130 g) without salt and let it cool in a sieve. Then peel, segment, and dice the oranges. Whip the cream with a sachet of vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold the cream and diced oranges into the cooled rice with a fork, and sweeten with a little more sugar to taste. Refrigerate for a while before enjoying. Garnish with orange slices.
