Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g chickpea flour
  • 100 g potatoes
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 g cream cheese
  • 15 g sesame oil or rapeseed oil
  • some parsley or carrot greens, chopped
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 Msp. Ras el Hanout
  • 25 g sesame seeds
  • 20 g wholemeal breadcrumbs
  • 100 ml oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Bring the vegetable broth to a boil. Quickly stir in the chickpea flour and let it simmer for 5 minutes without heat. Stir in the egg, cream cheese, oil, greens, garlic, and ras el hanout. Mix the sesame seeds and whole-wheat breadcrumbs. Form the mixture into dumplings, roll them in the sesame mixture, and flatten slightly. Heat the oil for frying and fry the falafel for 10-15 minutes on each side. Serve with a dip, for example.
