Burger with vegetarian patties

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g oat flakes
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 pack of mozzarella, grated
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 onion(s), chopped
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • curry paste
  • 2 tsp vegetable stock powder
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 1 large tomato(s), sliced
  • 4 pickled gherkins, sliced
  • 2 tbsp hamburger sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

For the patties, mash the kidney beans thoroughly and place them in a bowl with the egg, onions, mozzarella, olive oil, vegetable stock powder, and oats. Mix with your hands. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and curry powder and mix the mixture again. Form round patties and fry in a hot pan with oil. For the burgers, warm the buns in the oven at about 100°C. Top the buns with the remaining ingredients as desired and serve.
