Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp, leveled mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp, heaped mustard
  • some salt and pepper
  • Aromat
  • lettuce
  • cocktail tomatoes
  • gherkins, cut into strips
  • possibly anchovies

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 52 minutes

Boil the eggs hard. Peel and halve lengthwise. Remove the egg yolks and strain them through a sieve into a bowl. Mix with the mayonnaise and mustard until creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and aromatic seasoning and mix again. Transfer the mixture to a decorating syringe and pipe the mixture into the egg halves. Place washed lettuce leaves on a serving platter and arrange the egg halves on top. Garnish with halved cherry tomatoes and gherkin strips. Depending on your taste, you can place anchovy strips on the egg halves, although this may not be to everyone’s liking.
