Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g shrimp(s)
  • 2 pointed peppers, red
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 400 g tomatoes, chopped, possibly also can
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Parsley
  • possibly white wine or water
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

baked shrimp

Sauté the shrimp in olive oil, remove, and fry the finely chopped bell pepper and garlic in the remaining fat. Deglaze with a little white wine or water, add the tomatoes, bring to a boil, and season with salt and pepper. Add the shrimp and finally the finely diced or crumbled feta and the chopped parsley. Stir again and season to taste. Transfer everything to a baking dish and bake in the oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes. Serve with white bread, baguette, ciabatta, or flatbread. It’s a starter in Greece. This recipe serves as a main course for 2 people.
