Goat cheese tartlets

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slice(s) puff pastry, square
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 tsp thyme, dried, better fresh
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 7 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • some pepper, white
  • 4 small goat’s cheese coins
  • 4 tbsp cranberries (from the jar)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

very tasty starter

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) or 175°C (fan oven). Thaw the puff pastry slightly, then fold the dough squares in about 1/2 cm on each side and press down. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, whisk the egg yolk, and brush the dough squares with it. Bake in the oven for about 8 minutes. Meanwhile, slice the washed spring onions into rings and mix with the crème fraíche. Add dried or fresh (pulled leaves) thyme, salt, and pepper. Fill the pre-baked tartlets with the mixture, place the goat cheese slices on top, and return to the oven for another 10 minutes. Serve warm with 1 tablespoon of cranberries.
