Let’s snack
Clean the mushrooms and cut into very small cubes. Peel the onion and garlic and also dice them finely. Heat a little butter in a pan and fry the diced mushrooms until they no longer release any juice. Sauté the onions until they are translucent, then add the garlic and sauté until the garlic releases its aroma and smells fragrant. Remove the pan from the heat and let the contents cool in a bowl. Preheat the oven to 190°C (fan). Prepare the puff pastry by rolling it out and shaping it into 12 triangles. Stir the sour cream, cheese, ajvar, and cornstarch into the cooled mushroom and onion mixture and season lightly with salt and pepper if desired. Place a heaped teaspoon of the mixture on the wide side of each triangle and fold the pointed ends over each other to form a small pocket. Finish all 12 triangles in this way. Place the mushroom parcels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush each one with egg yolk whisked with a little milk. Finally, sprinkle a few sesame seeds on each parcel and bake the snacks in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown. These mushroom parcels are delicious hot or cold.
