Soak the stale bread roll in the warm milk. Peel the shallot, dice it into small pieces, and sauté it in a pan with a little oil. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper. Squeeze the liquid from the soaked bread roll and add it. Beat an egg and add it to the minced meat. Mix the sautéed shallot, mustard, and capers into the minced meat mixture and mix everything well. Place a sausage on each Maasdam slice and wrap it in the cheese. Place a quarter of the minced meat mixture on each slice of cling film and roll it out. Place a cheese-wrapped sausage on each slice of the rolled-out minced meat mixture and roll it up in the minced meat using the cling film. Make sure the roll is sealed all the way around and at the ends. Heat a pan with oil and fry the minced meat rolls all the way around. Arrange the sausage, cheese, and minced meat rolls and serve.
