Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g rice pudding
  • 200 g whipped cream, cold
  • 500 g strawberries
  • 1 tbsp vodka

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Combine milk, a pinch of salt, 50g sugar, and 1 packet of vanilla sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the rice pudding and bring to a boil while stirring. Let it swell in a covered pan over low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Let the rice cool slightly, then cover and refrigerate. Whip the cream until stiff, then fold into the rice. Empty the rice pudding into a bowl. Wash and hull the strawberries. Puree 400g strawberries, mix with 1 packet of vanilla sugar, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and vodka. Halve the remaining strawberries, then serve the rice pudding with the strawberry sauce and halves. You can also omit the vodka, so the children can eat it too.
